Foundation phase

We offer one class per grade and our skilled teachers focus on strengthening and consolidation of the basic skills, such as reading, spelling and mental arithmetic. The subjects offered include English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Life Skills. English and Afrikaans are both offered as home language.

Individual assistance and attention are given to learners as far as possible and learners who need support are referred to the school’s learner support team.
Parents role:

• Spend time with your child daily going through their homework and sign it.
• Make sure you see your child’s tests and sign them.
• Communicate regularly with your child’s teacher.
• Get involved at the school.
